Baan Thai although a really good Thai restaurant is actually from Germany. About 4 decades ago, the owner of the restaurant had immigrated to Stuttgart, Germany . About seven years ago, the family decided to come to Portland to get their children to attend PSU. Today Baan Thai has become one of few favorites spots for not only students at PSU but also for the whole Portland.
There are a lot of Thai restaurants around these days, but if you recommend Baan Thai, I’ll check it out!
